My Review: When Will Henderson was six years old his father seemingly abandoned him to the care of Mark and Regina an Amish couple. His father did not return so the couple raised Will as their own. Will grows up Amish and becomes a member of the Amish faith and is engaged to Karen Yoder. But Will holds onto a lot of bitterness and anger toward his father for leaving him. There was supposed to be a note but Regina and Will never found it. Will knows he needs to be at peace with his past and father in order to move on in life. He does not know that his father is equally upset and depressed by the situation and had looked for him in the past. Frank Henderson, Will's father, begins to look for his son again. This is a wonderful heartwarming story set during Christmas. I enjoyed the development of the characters and story. Recommended.
